Gloss, Matte or Satin? Understanding Finishes
Finish is about the surface look — and each one changes the car's personality.
Beyond material, the finish defines how light interacts with the film surface.
Gloss
High-shine, wet-look surface that reflects light sharply. The classic premium look, close to a fresh factory paint job. Best for showing off deep colors.
Matte
Non-reflective, velvet-like surface. Absorbs light, giving a stealthy, aggressive look. Matte is one of the most popular finishes worldwide.
Satin
Between gloss and matte — a soft, semi-sheen finish. Elegant and less fingerprint-prone than gloss, with more life than matte.
Special finishes
Pearl, metallic, color-shift, laser and carbon add effects like shimmer, angle-dependent color change and texture. These are statement finishes for custom builds.
