What Is TPU Color Change Film?

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a high-elasticity polymer used as the base material for premium color change film. Unlike traditional PVC, TPU film behaves like an elastic skin: it stretches, conforms and rebounds without losing shape.

Typical structure
A TPU color change film is a multi-layer product: a self-healing top coat, a pigmented TPU base layer, an adhesive layer and a release liner. The material thickness is usually 7.5mil (about 190 microns).
